Installation steps

1. 1Download for your operating system above — a signed installer on macOS, the VST3 (beta .zip) on Windows.
2. 2macOS: run the installer and follow the prompts. Windows: copy the VST3 into your VST3 folder (see the Windows beta steps above).
3. 3Restart your DAW to trigger a plugin re-scan.
4. 4Find "StudioPilot" in your plugin list and load it on a track.
5. 5Log in with your StudioPilot account to activate your credits.

Is it free to try?

Which plugin formats are included?

macOS ships a signed installer with VST3 and Audio Unit (AU) binaries, plus AAX for Pro Tools. On Windows, the beta is a VST3 you copy into your VST3 folder — a signed installer (with VST3 and AAX) is coming soon.

Why is Windows a manual install right now?

We're code-signing the Windows installer so it installs with no security warnings. While that's in review, the Windows beta ships as a VST3 you drop into your VST3 folder — it works in every VST3 DAW today. macOS already has its signed, notarized installer.

Is StudioPilot native on Apple Silicon?

Yes. The macOS installer is a universal binary that runs natively on both Apple Silicon (M-series) and Intel Macs. No Rosetta 2 translation layer is required.

What does the plugin add over the browser studio?

The plugin adds DAW-hosted generation, lyric generation, and timed lyric extraction. The browser studio covers single-track generation and basic editing without any install.

How do I uninstall?

On macOS, run the uninstaller in /Applications/StudioPilot or remove the component files from ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/. On Windows (beta), delete StudioPilot.vst3 from C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\. Your account and credits are unaffected.
